Bangaram is everything you imagine a tropical island to be and from the moment you set foot on the blinding, soft, white sand you'll be totally enraptured by the exotic natural beauty of what can only be described as one of the most exclusive tropical islands in the world.
It is quite a small island you can walk around it in an hour or so. surrounded by superb, soft, silvery sands with an interior of lush green coconut groves, it portrays an image of pure ecstasy. Surrounding the island is a coral reef, which forms a large sheltered lagoon, the most incredible shade of luminous turquoise, which also encloses three small uninhabited islands.
Surrounded sixty Square Kilometers of pristine lagoon, two uninhabited islands five minutes away and a shipwreck just outside the reef where you can see the most colorful fish, make the resort an exclusive place to be.
The resort provides an amazing unwinding opportunity for discerning guests. The cottages are nice and spacious, perfectly in sync with the nature. You can sample the best seafood and you would have plenty to do, if you like to jump into water or bask under the sun.
Resting in the silvery beaches of Bangaram, one can listen to the symphony of waves and swaying palms. The sense of true bliss in the solitude is the ideal stress-buster; an antidote for all ills of a hectic life.

The Agatti Island is the gateway to Bangaram.
At Agatti airport you would be received by the resort staff and escorted to the boat for a magical 2 hours (40 minutes by speedboat) ride to Bangaram. {During monsoon (May to October) transfers from Agatti to Bangaram are by helicopter}.

Here is the Bangaram Package Itinerary. Please do not consider this as final as normally the same has been fixed at Bangaram Resort. The sightseeing & water sports timing will be flexible & according to the weather condition.

Your adventure begins with 6 leisurely days and -
5 mystical nights in Bangaram.
Day -1 : 12 p.m (approx.) will reach at Bangaram Island. Reception-welcome drink- on arrival & check-in at Resort. Lunch at Bangaram beach resort - evening kayaking (free complimentary)- Dinner & overnight stay at Bangaram beach resort. We can arrange (optional; excluded in package) turtles watch/moonlit excursions to nearby islands or night stay at floating boats at your choice.)
Day - 2 : Bed tea- Breakfast at Bangaram beach resort - 8.30 a.m - Morning starts with hopping excursions (optional) to nearby islands (ie. Thinnakkara, Parali I & Parali II, Kalpiti or Agatti) 1.p.m Lunch at Resort - 4.30 onwards swimming /fishing/kayaking/at beach - Dinner & over night stay at Bangaram beach resort.
Day - 3 : Bed Tea - Breakfast at Bangaram beach resort - 8.30 a.m Glass bottomed boat riding, lagoon fishing & speed boat riding (optional) - 1. p.m Lunch at Resort - Rest of the day at leisure/swimming /fishing/kayaking/ on the beach. Dinner & Overnight stay at Bangaram beach resort
Day - 4 : Bed Tea - Breakfast at Bangaram beach resort - 8.30 a.m Enjoy the nature or swim/kayak at the beach. 1. p.m Lunch at Resort - Rest of the day at leisure on the beach. Or you may continue water sports such as snorkeling /speed boat ride/fishing/sailboat/water skiing/scuba diving (optional) - Dinner & Overnight stay at Bangaram beach resort
Day - 5 : Bed Tea - Breakfast at Bangaram beach resort - 8.30 a.m Morning starts with scuba diving, snorkeling or deep sea fishing (optional). We also arrange sun filled / moonlit excursions to nearby islands at your choice.) - 1. p.m Lunch at Resort - Rest of the day at leisure on the beach to enjoy the nature at its best. Dinner & Overnight stay at Bangaram beach resort
Day - 6 : Bed Tea - Breakfast at Bangaram beach resort. You will be escorted to a 40 minute speedboat ride to Agatti Airstrip. At 11.00 a.m By Air to Cochin. Arrival 12.45 a.m at Nedumbassery Air port.
(If the package (ship to flight) ends at late flight days: Bed Tea - Breakfast - at Bangaram beach resort - 8.30 a.m; lunch at Bangaram beach resort - 10.00 am. You will be escorted to a 40 minute speedboat ride to Agatti Airstrip. Departure: 12.00 pm by air to Cochin. Arrival according to schedule [01.20 pm] at Nedumbassery Int'l Air port.)

How To Reach The Bangaram Island Resort
One can reach Lakshadweep by flight From (Cochin) Kochi (By Air)
• Kochi / Agatti / Kochi By Air - Indian Airlines
By Air* : The Agatti Island is the gateway to Bangaram. The airport at Agatti is well networked with the mainland at Kochi (Cochin) from where onward flights to most of the airports in India and to selected foreign destinations are available.
The Indian Airlines operates its flight to Agatti Island all days in a Week except Sundays. The flight is designating from Bangalore early in the morning and has a stop-over in Kochi; from Cochin International Airport to Agatti takes approximately one hour thirty minutes.
Where is Lakshadweep located?
Lakshadweep is located about 185 miles (300 km) off the Kerala Coast in Arabian Sea. It is in 8° and 12° North Latitude and 71° and 74° East Longitude. The nearest island Andrott is 220 kms away from Kochi and the farthest one, Agatti is 440 kms away.
How to reach Lakshadweep?
One can reach Lakshadweep by flight and ships from Kochi. Lakshadweep Administration operates ships from Kochi.
Do one need a permit to visit Lakshadweep?
The union territory of Lakshdweep is a restricted area for outsiders. All visitors, even mainlanders and Foreign nationals, need a permit to enter Lakshadweep. However for bonafied tourists the permit and other formalities will be arranged by the tour organizers. The following details has to be submitted in order to process the same.
For Foreigners:
A copy of passport & visa has to be submitted for foreigners for the same.
Indian Nationals:
For to apply entry permits, name, age, address and accommodation voucher/s are required. [Accommodation Vouchers will be issued on the basis of full prepayment]

Furnished cabins containing a generous amount of space with throughout carpet. Couches, Shelf, Wooden table and private baths in every room in order
to enhance your enjoyment and relaxation. Rooms are available with two Queen-size beds in the Diamond or First class
and four Queen-size beds in the Gold class.
(*Ship Fare is inclusive of food during journey & transfer by boat to the Island. Cabin facility is available only in m.v Kavaratti. The ships m.v Amin Divi; m.v. Lakshadweep Sea, m.v. Corals etc., are mostly having A/C chair car seating arrangements. Boarding Starts at 09.00 A.M. at Willingdon Island, Kochi. Travel Time - 18 to 22 Hrs. Scuba Diving
Water sports equipments and activities on offer include kayak/canoes, snorkeling, windsurfing, parasailing, waterskiing, catamarans, deep sea fishing and of course there is access to some world class diving on untouched reefs which to be unparalleled. There is PADI recognized scuba diving instructors at the Bangaram Beach Resort. Diving and snorkeling is absolutely safe because the conditions inside the reef are absolutely calm.
Charter Sport Fishing
For deep sea big game fishing, Bangaram is an ideal location. Record size Barracuda, Sailfish, Yellowfin, Travelly and Wahoo have often been landed. Local boats are available here for rent with experienced crew and guide.
As per the new rule this can be arranged with a special permit. It's mandatory to run 2 boats carrying a maximum of 2-3 anglers each for comfort. Serious anglers are advised to bring their own equipment. We practice a strict catch n release policy and strongly encourage the use of barbless hooks.

Fishing Permits
The islands are deemed as a restricted area by the Government of India, they are out of bounds to even mainland Indian Nationals. Only a set number of people can visit the islands at any one time with the mandatory paperwork.
